Panasonic GigaRange KX-TG5571M 5.8 GHz DSS Expandable Cordless Phone with Answering System and Talking Caller ID (Metallic Grey) Feature

• 5.8 GHz digital frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology
• Expandable to 8 handsets, 1 included
• Integrated digital answering system, up to 21 minutes recording time
• Call waiting, talking caller ID, and Caller IQ Plus compatible
• Intercom, custom ring tones, duplex speakerphone

The KX-TG5571M 5.8 GHz cordless phone system from Panasonic offers digital FHSS signal reception for clear, secure calls, plus lots of room to grow. An integrated digital answering system provides up to 21 minutes of recording time, remote operation, and an LCD message counter. The KX-TG5571M also features Call Waiting, Talking Caller ID and Caller IQ Plus compatibility. A light-up antenna alerts you to new calls silently, if you choose, while versatile ringer options let you choose from three sound patterns, four melodies, or even customized ring tones that you can record yourself.

Additional features include base and handset speakerphone capabilities, four-way conferencing (requires additional handsets), and an intercom system that allows communication between handsets and between the base unit and individual handsets. Mute, hold, flash, redial (last number dialed from the base, last five numbers from the handset), and dual keypad and display round out the feature set.

The system includes a single, metallic grey handset (model KX-TGA552M) that can be expanded to a total of eight (compatible handset models include KX-TGA552M, KX-TGA551M, and KX-TGA550M). Accessory handsets do not require separate phone jacks--just plug the charging cradle into a power outlet, and the handset will automatically configure itself to the base system.

Panasonic KX-TGA571S 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable Digital Cordless Handset Review

• Advanced 5.8 GHz digital cordless handset for use with Panasonic KX-TG5700 series telephone systems
• Talking caller ID
• 1.5-inch full color backlit LCD
• USB port for downloading pictures, ringers, wallpaper, and more
• Light-up indicator with ringer/voice mail alert

Designed to be used with KX-TG5700 series telephone systems, the Panasonic KX-TGA571S digital cordless handset uses 5.8 GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology for added clarity and a stronger connection. Because it uses the 5.8 GHz frequency, the handset operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology. The result is greater security, incredible clarity, and longer range. Have a wireless computer network, or thinking about getting one? The phone system's 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi.

Add Images to Your Calls
The cordless handset is designed around a 1.5-inch backlit LCD screen, providing space for images that you can upload to the phone via its USB port. This set includes a single handset, but the system is expandable to a total of eight handsets.

You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa lis10 to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk. - Panasonic 5.8GHz accessory handset- For use with the KX-TG5761/5766/5767/5771/5776/5777 (these systems are expandable up to 8 handsets/devices, see models for more information)- Talking caller ID- Call waiting caller ID- Ringer ID - Light up ID- Picture ID- Customized ringer- Light up indicator with ringer/message alert- Icon menu- Frequency hopping spread spectrum- 1.5" Full color (65k color capable) backlit LCD- Camera monitoring capability- USB Port for downloading pictures, ringer, wallpaper, and more- 1 Year manufacturer's warranty- Silver- Replacement battery: HHR-P105KXTGA571S
